Day 3

We are all up at 4:00am ready for our temple visit, which has a calming and peaceful effect on us. The Zen Master talks to us about happiness and peace.
We learn that Jace's luggage has travelled on ahead of us to Pusan, and we have luggage belonging to a Mr Boon instead - Jace is not too happy. We spend another day in Seoul, a city of ancient & modern, skyscrapers & fortune-tellers. We visit a weapons master, a friend of Master Hong, he invites us into his home,
which is wood panelled with sliding doors. He has a complete arsenal of weapons, chains, staffs, axes, tomahawks & delights in showing us how to use them. We sit on the floor & eat the delicious strawberries, which grow very large in Korea.
The Master takes us all out to lunch and again we get to enjoy the delights that make up Korean food.
We move on to Dongdaemun Sijang (Great East Gate Market) where we buy new doboks (training suits). The Korean language is difficult to learn but we can all remember how to ask for a beer (mekjoo).
