Trip to Korea March 2005

Day 4

Yet again the monk wakes us for our early morning temple visit. There are many marble steps leading to the temple, in the dark we nearly lose Alan, who misses a step and almost tumbles into the mist. We clean our rooms, the corridor and the hall (mostly by sliding around in our socks).
Dave, Lorne Kevin & Richard spend an unpleasant hour unblocking one of the toilets. The Korean plumbing system is not able to cope with loo paper, and someone forgot (no-one owns up)! We set off in our bus driven by Mr Char to one of the many National Parks, Seroraksan, on the east of the peninsular.
We climbed up Mount Sorak, with complete disregard for Health & safety, the Korean guides who were there to assist did this by shouting loudly in their best English 'GO ON! GO ON!

We weakly return to our luxury hotel, it has real beds & Jace is reunited with his luggage. We all sleep well safe in the knowledge that we can lie in till 9:00 am.
